   Everything was delicious -- unusual spices used which added lots of flavor and fantastic presentation, especially on the Share plates.

   Probably our favorite restaurant in Sarasota and the area. Here is the honest foodie’s truth - there is a surprising amount of really mediocre, overpriced, food in SRQ. 1592 is different. It actually is amazing food. Vegetable and meat forward, full of flavor. Amazing wine, reasonably priced. Food is fresh, full of flavor and not just salt (like other places). Execution is consistent and spot on. Great atmosphere, also consistent. Amazing cocktails. The use of fresh herbs and sauces is spot on. The smoked eggplants baba ghanoush is to die for!! There’s not a single thing we’ve had that was not good. Highly highly recommend.

   Delicious as always! Beautiful, fresh vegetables and dips. Octopus was fantastic and none of the dishes were overly salted.

   Not the best way to welcome visitors to SW Florida! We’ve enjoyed 1592 before and wanted to bring family for a fun and delicious dinner - no one was happy with the quality or taste of their meal. Sad to see the drop in quality of food and servers …. Our waiter and the bus team got into a spat and then they didn’t help him or the clients waiting for water, etc.

   The food was good but unfortunately the service was quite poor. Maybe you are too understaffed but our server was not around much. After asking multiple times, we final got water for the table. We never got proper plates and silverware to eat our pizza, even after asking several times. We tried to order another bottle of wine for our table and that never came either.

   We were seated promptly in a pleasant spot for two. The service was available but not intrusive. The food was without flaw.

   First time here and every bite was delicious! Smoked fish dip appetizer is the best!

    We went to 1592 Wood Fired Kitchen for the first time yesterday and were very impressed. The food and service were excellent. The menu was also excellent with a goodly number of choices. The dishes did have a Greek bias and were as good as I have had. We enjoy wine but the wine list was disappointing. The list was very unique, the problem is we did not know hardly any of them. I called in advance and their corkage fee was $30. Although I think that is high, we opted to bring our own bottle. Bottom line, if you like Greek food, 1592 Wood Fired Kitchen will not disappoint you.
