   The food was of good quality. The timing of dishes needs to be improved. Coordination between staff seems to still be developing. We want this restaurant to succeed, bc it is by far the nicest and closest to us in the backwaters of Dumfries.

   Excellent food choices and preparation was spectacular, so delicious. The short rib is top notch with rissoto. Table service was on point. Staff were pleasant and considerate about how the table was doing or needed anything.

   My waitress was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. The food was okay. The presentation was upscale. I got the blackened salmon special. It was a tiny piece of salty fish and so were the potatoes - salty! The steamed broccoli had no flavor. It was just steamed and put on my plate. But I was able to take the salty stuff and mix w the flavorless stuff so it balanced and became good. The vibe was ok but it didn’t feel like a steakhouse. It was not upscale, warm or quaint. It was loud and casual.

   Casino echoes inside the restaurant. Loud and way too bright. Not the ambiance we’d expect for a $200 dinner. Steak was ok, but sides lacked creativity. We won’t be returning.

   Service was extremely slow although a table next to us had continuous service and monitored to ensure they had what they needed. Ordered a drink and it took about 20 minutes to get it. My wife had to flag the manager down to ask about our food and when it was finally brought out the salmon and fried chicken were burned. Sent the salmon back and the waiter showed it to the chef and he just shrugged his shoulders. The manager never came back to check on us after we sent both orders back. Customer service was terrible.

    We had an early reservation and it was empty in the restaurant. The service was good and the food was also tasty. Bar seemed limited and didn’t have all ingredients to make some of their specialty cocktails.
