Our server Fransisco was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Every single item we had (which was pretty much everything on the menu) was incredible!

We sat outside next to the lake where there as a great view, unfortunately thee misquotes joined us. The service was exceptional and their signature port chop, a split was the best i ever had. We still had a to go bag. Great place to dine. I would be inside.

Quickly becoming one of my favorites in Galveston. High end professional service, great cocktails and wine list, amazing food, and beautiful room with good music and ambiance. Definitely recommend for any occasion, date night, girls night, guests in town etc.

We loved 1817, the restaurant is beautiful! We sat outside (lake view) which was amazing. We ordered cocktails which were great and a wedge salad to share. We both had a ribeye (we should have shared that too) It was cooked perfect and very tender. We had macaroni and cheese (so good) and garlic mashed potatoes for our sides. Then to finish off our amazing meal we ordered the chocolate cake! You guessed it, it was fabulous. We will be back soon.
