   Very impressive spread! The service was great too! I felt it was a little pricey and I'm not a big fan of the automatically added tip.

   To start had to ask for a waitress after waiting 20 minutes with no drinks, then had to wait an extra 15 minutes before we got our drinks, the mimosas were terrible so my wife ordered a bloody was one of the worst ones I have ever had and mind you was 13.00 for a bloody. Food was mediocre for the price. Meat was dry had to wait for more to be restocked. I would not recommend another brunch there. We drove from New Berlin and was expecting way better I hope their normal menu was better than their brunch. Now I don’t know if it’s because we booked for 2pm but was not super busy so they can’t say it was due to that. After spending 600.00 would have expected a lot better.

   We went to 1878 for their Mother’s Day Brunch. It started at 9am, but we didn’t have reservations until 2pm. The food stations were quite messy and had not been freshened up or cleaned all day it seemed. Our server took 15 mins to greet us, then forgot to bring our water. She finally came back to take our drink order, but never brought the water. Half of our group received their drinks, while the other half waited for another 10 mins. One of the drinks, a glass of Chardonnay, didn’t come until we were ready for our check. When it finally came, it was a glass of prosecco and not the Chardonnay that was ordered. The food was terrible- cheap, bland and terrible presentations. They charged $68/adult and $28 for our 12-year-old. The server received a 20% tip that was already on the bill. I’m not sure if service was so poor because they knew they were getting 20% gratuity automatically. It was the worst meal and service we have ever had while eating out. Totally not worth the $375 we spent. My whole family was hungry an hour after we left.

   Great buffet set up for Mother’s Day! I felt there were a lot of options for food, kids buffet was great for our daughter, and I LOVED that mimosa’s and champagne were included in the price!!

   This was Mother's Day buffet. Lots of food beautifully presented. Service was great. Although it's expensive, you feel like you got value and quality for the price.

   The brunch was outstanding....my husband and I have been to many holiday brunches, and this year far exceeded previous years...the food has always been excellent...but this year it was incredible.....!!!Thank you....it was a real Mothers Day treat !

   Way over priced for the experience. Food was average. Oysters on half shell were old not spoiled but not good. For the money I spent I expected better!

    We have gone for Mother’s Day brunch for over a decade. The food was abundant and delicious, the desserts were a highlight. The service this year was lacking. She may have had too many tables but she did not refill water and did not bring a pot for hot water for hot tea. The gorgeous view and well kept grounds bring us back year after year.
