    1878 on the Lake will be offering its annual Thanksgiving Feast Buffet on Thursday, November 28, 2024 from 11:00am - 7:00pm. Adults $68, Children 8-12 years $25, and Children 4-7 $14, and Children 3 and younger are complimentary. NA Beverage will be included for Children 12 and under. Prices are exclusive of 20% service charge and 5.5% WI sales tax. Regular menu will not be available. Parties of 11 or more may be seated at multiple tables close to each other. Seating variations are limited based on size of group and number of tables available on the different rooms assigned for this event.

                                    Family style wine tasting was fabulous. Unlimited food and wine. Private room with fireplace. Great conversations with new people. New wines showcased were excellent. New chefs are stepping food up from the past. Go. You will love it

                                    The chef has every right to be proud of his presentation . They were delicious and ample for even the largest of appetites. The wines that were paired with the entrees were very well chosen. Great experience was aavailable to all.

                                    Such a wonderful experience at 1878 on the Lake. And how convenient it was to walk to our restaurant without having to go outside. The menu variety was very good, and the food was delicious. We started out with calamari as an app, and it was huge and perfectly done. I had the pan-fried walleye with asparagus risotto. Again, a large portion and expertly cooked. My sisters had the queen cut prime rib. For one it was perfect; the other sister wanted hers cooked more well-done which the server did in a short amount of time with not any bother. We had a beautiful view of the lake, too. And did I mention the well-priced expertly crafted cocktails? Excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant and the Lake Lawn Lodge Resort!

                                    This was the perfect date for that special someone. I booked a dinner in the igloo, and I highly recommend it if you want something private and away from a noisy crowd. The service was great, and the vibes were great. Overall, I highly recommend 1878 on the Lake if you want to impress your date.

                                    Food was excellent - the Walleye is always great. The pork chop and steak cooked perfectly and the salmon delicious - love the flavors and Emily our server was so kind and attentive. Love her sense of humor. A must dessert - Mud Pie! Don't miss it!

                                    Was honestly one of the worst experiences we ever had. From service to food everything was a miss. Pear Martinis tasted like chilled fireball, prime rib came out actually rubbery raw blood red (looked like it came straight out of the cooler wish I was joking). Truffle fries had no truffle just fries with parm cheese sprinkled on top, server never asked if we wanted refills on drinks or checks how our food was. I could go on and on and on. Very disappointing for a girls weekend away we really wanted to enjoy a nice meal with each other and catch up. Will never go back.

                                    We were very disappointed based on the ratings and reviews. The views were stunning but the food was not great, we constantly had to ask for our waitress and the place honestly felt like a retirement home. This is the one meal we were looking to based on the reviews and drive 40 minutes each way to go.

                                    Overall food was pretty good. Staff was very friendly and decor was very nice. Food was a little cold when it arrived and there was cold breeze by our seats.
