   Food was fabulous, a little over priced though, in my opinion. Entertainment is extremely loud which makes dinner conversation very limited. We brought family vacationing here and they enjoyed the food also.

   We had reservations....were greeted rudely.."what can I do for ya?", as if we were there to buy a car! Our server was courteous, but continually apologized for the FACT that other tables were served before us, who had arrived AFTER, with the same order. When I ask for the manager, "JJ", the same rude greeter came to our table, agreed that my steak was NOT how I had ordered it, and asked, "so, whadya want me to to?", instead of offering some adjustment. I replied, "whatever you deem appropriate." My wife and I swapped meals, since she didn't want a confrontation, and "JJ" agreed to throw in desert. Learned later from the valet that "JJ" was only some "assistant" manager, whatever that is, and not the person to talk to if one has a problem. Also, the noise level was very high and definitely NOT as a "fine dining" restaurant; one had to SHOUT to be heard, including ordering dinner. This is our second unsatisfactory experience with 31...we will NOT recommend this place which is SUPPOSED to be fine dining....and we will not be back.

   Steaks were mediocre and expensive. Over marinaded and poorly cooked. Sides were generic. Cocktails are excellent.

   This is one of the best places to eat and be merry in Ormond Beach. Whether a date night or a group occasion it's always a good time.

   We went out to celebrate my son''s 27th birthday. He had wanted to go to this restaurant because of the great website. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We came in dressed as it was stated that there was a dress code. People were seated next to us in flip flops, shorts and casual wear. The music playing was 50's and then changed to the Eagles. I love the Eagles, but I don't want to hear it in a speak easy. Our meal was too expensive for the quality. My son sent his soup back and by this time we just wanted to leave. It was a nice thought that they packed up a slice of BD cake for my son, but it wasn't nice they had tried to charge me $6.00 for it. The hostess was very nice and I felt she could tell we were not enjoying ourselves. Too bad, we had hoped this would be a dinner to remember for good reasons.

   Great club, old speakeasy atmosphere. Steaks were very good. Service excellent. We'll be back soon

   We had our 55 Anniversary at 31.. the service was excellent..i liked the waitsaff in black, very professional, knew the menu and wine. It was like going back in time to the night clubs atmosphere.. love it. THE piano player was very good, the music wasn't to loud. He played our song and we danced.. perfect for the evening.. even free dessert..😁

    We had a great time. Waiters were special helpful .and courtesy was shown to all Including my special guest age 96 in wheelchair
