Ike's dining room is by reservation only, however we welcome walk ins when the availability allows.
Doc's Lounge is open seating and is first come, first served, in Doc's Lounge you will find an extensive bourbon collection and our mixologists who are creating specialty cocktails for each taste. This was our first experience at 34 Chophouse. Lawry’s Prime Rib had been our go to anniversary spot for over 25 years. Since they closed we needed a new place and we found it at 34 Chophouse. Excellent food and service. We’ll be back for many other special occasions.

The food was delicious! We had the pork chop and filet… both were perfect in flavor and portion. The sauces complimented each meat very well!

We had a lovely table for two by the window. The service was fantastic without being bothersome. Drinks were very good and priced the same as any drinks in an upscale restaurant. The shrimp tempura was our appetizer, it is very good. We had the filet, it was delicious and cooked just as we like - medium. We also had mushrooms that we shared. Great New Years dinner!!

Denison really has a great restaurant...everything was delightful. Might have been perfect if a little table decor was added for the holidays. One candle did not add to festive feeling for New Years! but ... Food and service was excellent as it has been on our other visits. Everything from drinks to entree to dessert was awesome. Highly recommend it.

As a seasoned business traveler who has visited numerous high-quality steakhouses over the years, I approached this smaller, hometown North Texas restaurant with reasonable expectations, understanding its private and local nature. The ambience and recent remodel were impressive, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. However, the food, while decent, fell short of what I would expect from a “chop house” at this price point. It was average at best and didn’t justify the cost. The service, unfortunately, was another disappointment. While our waiter was polite and clearly trying his best, it was evident he lacked proper training in the finer details and service standards expected at a steakhouse of this caliber. This seemed to be more of a management training issue than the fault of the individual waiter. Overall, while the setting was enjoyable, the experience left much to be desired in terms of both food and service.

We have eaten here in the past and it was really great and enjoyable. Their prices have gone way up from what they were previously and it’s a little ridiculous. I had a small steak with mashed potatoes and it was $60. My wife had a shrimp Pasta that was so salty it was almost inedible and it was $39. We didn’t have drinks or anything else and out bill was over $100. For that price, I can drive to Dallas and get a much better meal and drinks for the same price. We used to enjoy having date nights here, but that looks to be in the past. It’s a bummer.

We came after a candlelight concert …. Service was a bit slow but it was crowded when we arrived for our reservation . Both ordered filet mignon cooked medium altho we did cut into the edge as server requested it was completely raw in the middle 😕 at this point neither of us wanted to mention as it was 9 pm and so we took it home . Aside from that overall the food was great , server maybe wasn’t educated on some of the foods on the menu … and it was very loud . I would come back but plan to make sure medium is medium and not rare and mooing in the middle .
