The food was delicious, the ambiance was great. Food service timing could be better, the server was about to serve main meal before my dinner companion was done with his starter. The dessert was very underwhelming.

Beautiful views, excellent cocktails, food, service…GO! We are staying at the Rowan hotel for a week and may eat here 3 more times!

The service, ambience, and cocktails were absolutely superb. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the holiday pre fixe menu, although the dessert was excellent and I wasn’t very delighted that the restaurant had decaf coffee available.

We have been frequent patrons to the restaurant, but our Christmas Eve experience was a let down. The menu normally has a good selection for vegetarians , but we were stunned that the holiday prix fixe menu had whole courses with no vegetarian options. After an intervention by the manager, we managed to get the regular menu items served to us…but what a let down for the holiday.

Elevated setting gives nice view of the city and foothills. We sat outside on Xmas eve and it was beautiful and comfortable. Friendly, efficient service without being intrusive. Never felt rushed. Holiday pri fix menu with varied choices. We all loved the selections from appetizer through dessert. Asked server for suggestion on where to see Xmas lights and her suggestion of Candy Cane Lane in Cathedral City was spot on.

Les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur du cadre. Le personnel est très gentil mais les prix sont trop élevés par rapport à la qualité des plats assez quelconques.

Great location! Our server was great but stretched thin. The food was meh. Our $80 filet was overcooked (very well done not MW) and was absolutely not 10oz. The cioppino was a bit bland. The Cesar salad was delish. We were never asked how our meal was or if we wanted wine or a cocktail with dinner. I think more staff and quality control in the kitchen would bode well.

Food quality is low and not worth the price of an upscale restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were overly salty, over cooked or too spicy.

We had a little snafu when we arrived because apparently we were not on the reservation list. It didn’t really matter though because there was no one there except for us. We went early so we could have dinner before a show at the Annenberg at the museum. We started our dinner with delicious martinis that were served in Gimlet glasses, one of my pet peeves, but they were very good. Then we went on to have a delicious meal and we will definitely return but not by ourselves. It is definitely somewhere to go with friends and spend an evening. This morning I had a notice that we had missed our reservation and a little warning from OpenTable. I’m not sure what all that was about but c’est la vie. We like there is valet parking and the space is pleasant, but no table cloths, so not very formal. A special reach out full of kudos to the young men who valet in front of the hotel.

Each dish is better than the last. All creative and delicious. Price points border on obnoxious. Service is stellar.
