Located in the heart of Solon we are True to our roots!
From root to branch, we source our ingredients as locally as possible, toast our own spices, prepare our own breads and dressings (including the Original garlic vinaigrette!)
Our menu includes only the freshest fish & produce and we only use meats free of preservatives, hormones and antibiotics. Even our eggs come from happy free range chickens!

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. Our waitress arrived at our table very promptly and she too was quite pleasant. We both ordered a special, a chicken and a blackened walleye. They were both prepared to perfection. We were delighted to lick our plates clean.

Always have a great dining experience at Kitchen 56. Yesterday my husband tried something different. The seasoning in the entree was too much for him and the server was very observant and realized he didn’t care for the dish and brought him something else without hesitation. My husband didn’t want to make a fuss but the server took great care of him. My short rib meal was delicious. I highly recommend and the cocktails were excellent.

This was our first visit to the restaurant based on recommendations from friends. We will definitely be back. I ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and sausage. It was served piping hot and was delicious with plenty of meat toppings. My wife ordered the salmon avocado sandwich and a side salad. The salmon was cooked medum-well as ordered and the salad was crisp and fresh. Service was very good. Our server was prompt and attentive.

This is our favorite place to eat when we are in town. Always have a great meal that is different than anything you can get elsewhere. Service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend you try them for something different.

No cheese in a salad I have had a million times. Quality of food in solon has done down the drain. Used to love that place

It was really nice and every employee was amazing! It was so refreshing to see how well they all worked together as a team. They appeared to enjoy their work and each other and valued and appreciated their customers. The food was very good and plentiful. The place itself was a tad basic and the seats a little uncomfortable but it took nothing away from the lovely experience we had!

We eat here often. I usually get one of the specials, they have like three to pick from. They are new every week.
