We had her as our server twice and she’s personable and attentive and helps make the experience fun! Food is good, with some meals better than others. Atmosphere is great, not too loud but with enough action to feel lively.

                                                                                          Good food and drinks. Warm cozy, "clubby" atmosphere. Bar backdrop wrought iron is cool. Inviting place, also good for a group celebration. Staff is courteous and answered questions about the establishment.

                                                                                          This was our third visit to the restaurant since it was re-branded. As with previous visits our meals were delicious. My wife ordered a salad with salmon, and I ordered French onion soup and the LaScala salad. The salmon was cooked medium well as ordered and the salads were fresh and crisp. The French onion soup is among the best I have tasted. We highly recommend the restaurant for friendly service and delicious meals.

                                                                                          I've had a taste for Prime Rib for a month but couldn't find any place close where I live in Aurora on a Saturday night. Scrolling through FB I saw a post from 56 Tavern showing a delicious looking Prime Rib and I knew this was where we had to go that evening. The restaurant was gorgeous decorated so nicely. White Roses on every table that I could see including ours. Our server was great her name is Cindy. All the servers working there were wonderful and very attentive! The GM was very nice and brought us our soups. The owner visited the table and made sure we were OK with our food. We had French Onion Soup and Lobster Bisque, both very good. Mussels for app and Wedge Salad for my guy I was saving room for my Prime Rib! He loved the mussels and wedge salad and he got a burger and fries lol My Prime Rib was cooked perfectly Med Rare! The Horsey sauce was amazing. I was hoping my guy would try the Squid Ink Seafood pasta but he wasn't sure about Squid Ink lol Hoping to go again and give it a try before it's off the menu! Great food Great Service Great Ambiance!
