Executive Chef Jessica Roy brings her fresh interpretation and style to Garden and Farm-to-Table cuisine right inside the botanical oasis that is Sherman Library and Gardens. Daily pickings from the Gardens and local farms populate the ever changing seasonal menu that highlights the best and most flavorful ingredients of the season. Look for ingredients at their peak, stunning edible blooms and herbs right from the Sherman grounds, and cuisine that is nothing short of inspired and delicious. .

Please note: we are located within the Sherman Library and Gardens, to which there is a $5.00 per person admission fee. Each admission supports the Sherman Gardens (a non-profit organization), who maintain the sweeping panoramic views that our diners get to enjoy! Today we had a mother- daughter special lunch. We both chose the Dahlia salad which had the freshest ingredients consisting of a mix of different lettuces, dried and fresh fruit, pignola seeds, goat cheese, and was absolutely delicious! Not that we needed quantity, but it was truly gigantic and filled us up. However, we wanted to try the flourless chocolate tart so we decided to share it and what a great way to end a delicious meal! Our server was very attentive and gracious. We had an outside table, equipped with an umbrella and shawls on every chair in case we felt chilly. Our table had a beautiful view of the gardens. I couldn’t resist stopping in their lovely gift shop which had a great selection of all kinds of items and made some pretty purchases. All in all this was a lovely afternoon and we both said we will definitely be back again.

Food was excellent! Ordered the very tasty well-seasoned, flaky crusted quiche with crisp cheese topped layer served with a beautiful mixed garden salad; also ordered the wild mushroom orecchiette in a light cream sauce (hint of truffle) with cute sized squashes and Japanese mushrooms. Next time will add a protein but nice vegan option. We felt like all the ingredients were picked straight from a garden. Now the best biscuits ever! For the first time tried their homemade buttermilk chive and gruyere biscuits. A bit pricey, takes around 17-20 min but TO-DIE-FOR. We ordered them because while waiting for our table, a local was waiting to p.up his biscuits to go, bake later. Says he does this every year for Thanksgiving and it's a must. So we did and it is a must!! Hats off to the Chef Jessica Roy; truly a specialty. Served with whipped butter and orange infused blossom honey. Yum yum. Drink was the tropical garden punch-refreshing. Wish we had room for dessert...next time for sure. Just be sure to plan ahead when you want to visit the garden too. Entrance is $5 pp. My mistake was visiting a couple days earlier, discovering the cafe and returning. Had to pay entrance fee again.

We hope to see you again soon (FYI, if you become a member of the Gardens you won't have to pay the entrance fee each time, and it also gives you access to many other gardens).

This is truly one of my favorite restaurants to go for lunch with my favorite girlfriends for a birthday celebration. We had an amazing time and the food was tremendous.

Lovely venue and excellent food. It was usually busy today and it took awhile and 3 x asking to get service. Once we did Anthony was excellent and we were so happy to have him help us. Very attentive and friendly👍

The food at Dalia is very good and the setting at Sherman Library and Gardens is, of course, outstanding. But the prices have gone up too much. Their signature muffins used to be $18, they are now $28! Why? Costs are going down, not up. Very disappointing..... Is Dalia's trying to send the message that they are now only for very high income people?

Additionally, we have recently changed our signature biscuit recipe, changing from traditional flour to organic European flour as it is a superior quality ingredient.

We enjoyed our delicious lunch in the beautiful Sherman Gardens at 608 Dahlia. I would suggest smaller servings of the entree salads and quiche lunch entree. The are large enough to share.

The Chef at 608 Dahlia is outstanding in every way. The presentation is pure creative art! The food is prepared to perfection and tastes fresh and organic …like right out of the garden. Not to mention you are surrounded by complete beauty from the gardens. One literally walks into a peaceful garden, beautiful seasonal decor with food made from heaven above. I am fortunate to frequent five star resorts and restaurants… I agree 608 Dahlia exceeded all my expectations and is far above five stars. 🙌 The Chef is truly stupendous!!!!
