   Excellent as always. Although not cheap, it’s very good value because the standard of cooking is so high and so consistent. Also some lovely wines on the list.

   Very interesting menu. The smoked eel vol au vent was an unusual find, faultlessly executed. The duck was delicious and it’s presentation was superb. Two people had kept room for dessert (not me) but reports were excellent. A very special, indulgent evening!

   Blown away on last visit, so expectations were high today. Really didn't disappoint. Delicious quail followed by rabbit - sauces particularly delicious. Great bread to mop everything up. Staff excellent and even recommended the house white to pair one dish which is pretty unheard of. Not cheap - £49/two courses, but the cooking really is a notch up.
