                                                                                                      Tonight was the second time we've eaten at 801 Chophouse in the past couple of months. Both times the food was superb. The problem was the service, which was close to being non existent. (We decided to give 801 Chophouse another chance tonight.) Both times after our entrees were served, we were practically ignored. Tonight no one asked us if we wanted dessert. We waited and waited for about 20 minutes to get a check. There are many steak restaurants in Denver. We're taking 801 Chophouse off our list.

                                                                                                      The meatballs were unexpectedly and noticeably spicy. After unable to eat them because of the spice and asking the server about them, he took it back to the kitchen and removed it from the bill. I didn’t expect anything but was very pleased he responded so quickly and without question.
