                                                                                                                                      Spent 48 hours in Minneapolis and this restaurant was suggested by our Uber driver (we were going to Ruth’s Chris). This was the best recommendation we could’ve ever gotten. Our server was great! She spoiled us (Michelle of if I recall correctly). The food was amazing. The restaurant was an original steakhouse with low lighting and white table cloths. We had a great Easter (early) dinner.

Both my wife and I had the petite sirloin which was prepared perfectly. She is lactose intolerant, so most of the sauces and side dishes didn’t work. The service was also good.

Oyster were great. Steak was a bit under per our selected preference. Like how many of the sides can be halved.

                                                                                                                                      My family and I went to 801 for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Extra touches were nice. We found colorful glitter on our table and menus printed with Happy Birthday on them. Our server said they serve the best steaks in town and he was right. My filet Mignon was cooked to perfection and by far the best steak I've ever had. Side dishes and desserts were delicious. Lots of choices too. Service was impeccable and the ambience was relaxing and comfortable. Quite pricey $$$$ but you know that before you go. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back.
