                                                                                            We dined at 811 for my husband's birthday. My three teenagers loved it and we ate all the courses. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Our waiter was excellent.

                                                                                            *Eleven was a refreshing experience form my previous (1977 alum) dining on the Purdue Campus and in both West Lafayette or Lafayette, IN. Zombie Dust beer on tap - a WINNING START! Thanks from one who grew-up in Hammond, IN. Although we had a 25 min delay with our seating, the staff was great and we appreciated the extra effort/accommodations. I'd recommend the "bacon appetizer" Everything goes better with bacon to quote another and this was a winner! After tow appetizers - I had the daily soup - great! As I was also quite content from appetizers and other earlier samplings, I shifted to a Wedge Salad. Again - a nice offering and it completed the dinner for me My associate had the Braised Beef and it was outstanding. To complete the night -expresso martini's - a great desert!! I love the limited menu approach here noting it will satisfy anyone and it's preparation/presentation/and overall tastes were all very good A 9.9 out of a 10!
