   We celebrated our first anniversary at 9 tables and it was perfect! Incredible food. Good atmosphere. Great food. We'll be back for sure.

   Start your evening at 9 Tables by showing up early for your reservation. Give a shout-out to Tyler that you're early, and then take a stroll through this charming old company town. You will find a bike shop and an old Company store-turned craft beer station, along with many other old buildings. Located right along the Hockhocking-Adena Bike Trail, you might not have even realized it was accessible by car. Open your evening, and plan on spending some real, quality time at 9 Tables. It is not going to be a quick meal! The opportunity to sit, relax, and experience a true dinner is something my husband and I have found nowhere else in this area. The food, the setting, the company - we have never been disappointed. Unusual menu options might at first look be outside your comfort zone, but give it a try - you'll be happy you did. I was hoping for French Onion soup at our last visit, and was prepared to be sad as I looked at the menu, but when I tasted the carrot, mushroom, barley stew, I almost forgot about the French Onion soup. Next time we go, I'm not sure which one I'll be hoping will be on the menu! The most challenging part of your evening will be slowing down and really getting to know your dinner partners. The courses come when it's time, and if you are accustomed to a server whisk away your salad, and tap their foot while you finish your meal, you'll be delightfully surprised. In our fast-paced, attention-deficit world, you might be tempted to pull out the cell phone, but please leave it in your car. Sit back, enjoy the surroundings, and take a breath. This is not your typical night out. It is an opportunity to experience fine dining in a quirky little old house with delicious companions. April is rumored to be "chicken month," and you know we'll be back!
