    Food was disappointing. Service was friendly but rather slow and we had to ask for things twice despite them not being very busy. It’s a cute space though. I wouldn’t go back.

    I have been to ABC every NYC visit for years. We have never been disappointed. Sadly, our visit this time was so different. The restaurant was dead on a Saturday night. The food was not great, at all. I hope things turn around there, I wouldn’t go back based on our experience last night. There are so many fab restaurants in NYC, didn’t compare to the others we ate at.

    Nice atmosphere and creative menu with good quality ingredients. Enjoyed the food. Service was very uneven. Slow and food came out at random intervals. Had to wait a long time for drinks and certain items. Worth trying for lunch.

    The food is excellent, but the service is awful. We had to cancel a dish that never showed up. And then we paid the bill. Only to be told that we had been charged close to $100 by mistake, but thank good, we would be refunded in 3 days. No apologies, no explanation why. We asked to talk to the manager who told us that this was about as big as a mistake as any restaurant could make. But no effort to apologise or whatever. He left us his e-mail: mgrosch@abckitchens.nyc when I asked how he would make us whole - that was that. Really not a great experience.
