Since opening in 2010, situated steps away from the Union Square Greenmarket, abc kitchen has celebrated community and local producers. Specializing in seasonal American cuisine with Jean-Georges’ signature touch (spice, acidity and Asian flares sprinkled throughout), abc kitchen is a Jean-Georges restaurant that partners with a diverse network of farmers and purveyors including Norwich Meadows Farm, Eckerton Hill Farm, Bodhi Tree Farm, Lani’s, and many more.

The restaurant’s regularly rotating food and beverage menus showcase organic ingredients, ranging from fresh greens to meats and fruits. Our hostess was very helpful and changed our table as we felt we were not shown the best one given how much in advance we had made the reservation. Overall the service was great and the appetizers were very good. My hamburger was mediocre and the bun was burnt. I had it redone. All in all, good experience.

The food was EXCELLENT, the waitress was absolutely sweet, caring, and there but not overbearing, the atmosphere was NIIIIIIICE, and it didn’t feel like a stuffy douschy Manhattan crowd. I’m definitely taking the hubby there again… and maybe soon haha

This restaurant was exceptionally amazing. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and the ambiance incredible. Will have to return again.

It took a long time to order and get our food. The noise level was high. But the food was good.

Food wasn’t great this weekend.. pizza was floppy and just not great. Butternut squash appetizer was cold and had no real flavor.

Service was good. The food was not very good given the price point. Fried chicken could have been served at a fast food place. The pasta was uninspired. Black Sea bass was decent but a small portion. Very disappointing

The food was really good and we were given a quiet table which was fine with us. Someone younger might have been happier in a livlier spot, but we were happy to hear each other.
