Since opening in 2010, situated steps away from the Union Square Greenmarket, abc kitchen has celebrated community and local producers. Specializing in seasonal American cuisine with Jean-Georges’ signature touch (spice, acidity and Asian flares sprinkled throughout), abc kitchen is a Jean-Georges restaurant that partners with a diverse network of farmers and purveyors including Norwich Meadows Farm, Eckerton Hill Farm, Bodhi Tree Farm, Lani’s, and many more.

The restaurant’s regularly rotating food and beverage menus showcase organic ingredients, ranging from fresh greens to meats and fruits. ABC always delivers. Food was great, tasty and well prepared. Everything came out hot. We had a nice cozy table and the service was quite attentive. Only thing to be mindful of: pacing of the food was a little fast. Mains arrived before we were done with the salad.

ABC Kitchen is one of my favorite NYC restaurants. I love the ambience -- a darkened room with twinkly lights, noisy but still allowing for conversation, helpful staff. Most recently I had the salmon and it was outstanding. My husband said his sea bass was the best he had ever had. I'll be looking forward to my next meal there.

Took a little long but they brought us a delicious tuna tartar on the house which was very kind of them. Everything was delicious

Our hostess was very helpful and changed our table as we felt we were not shown the best one given how much in advance we had made the reservation. Overall the service was great and the appetizers were very good. My hamburger was mediocre and the bun was burnt. I had it redone. All in all, good experience.

The food was EXCELLENT, the waitress was absolutely sweet, caring, and there but not overbearing, the atmosphere was NIIIIIIICE, and it didn’t feel like a stuffy douschy Manhattan crowd. I’m definitely taking the hubby there again… and maybe soon haha

This restaurant was exceptionally amazing. The food was spectacular, the service impeccable, and the ambiance incredible. Will have to return again.
