The cuisine at Chef Jean-Georges’ abc kitchen reflects a passionate commitment to the freshest organic and local ingredients possible. The restaurant’s changing menu focuses on local, sustainable, seasonal produce that does not use pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, or GMOs. Meat, fish, and dairy are locally sourced where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. A rooftop garden provides herbs and microgreens. Teas, coffees, spices, wines, juices, and elixirs are organically cultivated in fair-trade cooperatives. The dining room includes found, salvaged, reclaimed, and recycled building materials.

We ordered multiple small plates and enjoyed them all. The chicken liver melts in your mouth like butter and the grape jelly is oddly epic. The tuna tartare was fresh and light. Other dishes we enjoyed included the calamari, Brussels, and crab toast). Service and ambience were excellent as well. Can’t wait to return again soon.

The ambience was really cozy and enjoyable. The staff was friendly, but that is where the quality stopped. We ordered a turkey burger and a baked egg dish . We waited for literally 1 full hour to be served our food as the two tables next to us (one of which arrived after us) got there food. Eventually we asked, it was a small excuse, and a half hearted apology. Our food came 5 minutes later . The waiter asked if we wanted another drink, we said no - only that I’d like some more coffee please. He said no problem. The coffee never arrived. We then waited to pay the check, and waited and waited as my card disappeared for 10 more minutes eventually making its way back to me. The restaurant was not overly busy.. they did not offer or comp anything on our bill.. the egg dish was dry with a hard yellow yoke that stuck to the bottom of the minuscule cast iron skillet. It was listed as an entree and cost $20+ dollars. It was our 4th wedding anniversary and we tried to enjoy as best as we could🙂. Really disappointed in the quality of service, I am very easy to please when I go out, so it took some work to make me write a review here. I really did like the atmosphere though. Best of luck

We were SO excited for this brunch and were sadly very disappointed. We ordered, waited 30-40 minutes, and then received a salad on the house because our food ticket had gotten lost. We saw numerous tables receive the pizzas and Dutch babies. We then waited another 30 minutes and finally told our waiter that we would just leave and they said the kitchen got backed up because of pizzas and Dutch babies… we got there practically as soon as the restaurant opened and never got our food after over an hour. The restaurant did comp the one juice we ordered and gave us the salad for our trouble but sadly would likely not return, beautiful restaurant though,

The manager took care of us but the experience before that was awfully. I’m a foodie and have been to this restaurant many times. This was awful. The wait time. The lack of service. Unforgivable. The manager was very complementary and that’s nice but I expect good service without a manager’s interference

Rushed us through dinner saying we only had one hour before they turned the table. One diner didn’t even finish their meal before the cleared the plate away. Clearly not interested in providing any hospitality. Lots of options in NYC; pick another spot!!!

Decor and service were standouts in this bustling restaurant tucked into the ground floor of ABC Carpet home furnishing store. Pizzas were delicious, pastas were very good. Seasoning was a bit inconsistent. Great cocktail menu, we enjoyed our visit!

Great food, décor and atmosphere. If I died, this is my idea of what brunch in heaven would feel like. The highlight of our weekend trip in the city.

Great service and food. Went with a quiet person- tough to hear even when half full at lunch. I’d go back in a second but with a more boisterous crowd.
