   Food & service was great. Knocked off a star on service simply because the reservation and restaurant information says valet was complimentary but when we were leaving, we saw it’s actually $6 for valet. Not a big deal, but would prefer transparency and not have conflicting information from the reservation vs reality.

   Carlos the bartender service was impeccable!!! The Blue crab fingers were amazing along with the Shrimp & Grits.

   Pulled short rib grilled cheese was a huge surprise. Toothsome!!! Christina was a fabulous server who took the best care of us. Can’t say enough good things.

   Despite the open table listing saying valet was complimentary, it was actually $6. Surprise! Service was terrible. Waitress was kinda rude. For example, she plopped a single wrinkled dessert menu in the middle of our table for four without saying a word. We ordered the blue crab claws and it was served with two little pieces of bread. We had to ask a nearby waiter for more bread bc our waitress was MIA. We were told it was $1 for two more slices of bread. Someone at our table ordered the $28 drink (it comes in a glass you keep). Asked for a refill or another one in a non keepsake cup and was told no, it can only be ordered in the keepsake cup. I ordered the frozen Bellini and it the machine hadn’t frozen them yet so it was delivered with ice. The waitress did offer to replace it with something g else. Just felt like the service was terrible. The ambiance on the patio was mid. All the extra charges made it seem like this was not a high end place. However, would probably still go back bc the food was delicious!

   We had tried this place for Valentines for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food the service and ambience. This time of it may be a function of us dining late at 9 PM, but the quality of the same status as we had wasn’t the same also last time we didn’t get a chance to try the Lamb, which is usually a go to when we dine at restaurants, but this Lamb did not live up to the expectations. I would highly recommend the scallops but unless they rethink the lamp chop preparation style I won’t recommend it here. The crust was off putting.

   The waiter Carlos is amazing and so nice. He gave us great recommendations and suggestions for cheese board and wine. A’bouzy is great for visitors and date night!

   I visited last week and while the host was less than pleasant, our waiter’s excellent service more than made up for it. However, during my most recent reservation, the overall service fell short of expectations. Despite my enjoyment of the food, I regret to say I won’t be returning.
