Ho prenotato per 2 alle 17:30 di ieri con 20 giorni di anticipo per l’ afternoon tea. Essendo intollerante a glutine e lattosio, ho inviato dopo la prenotazione un messaggio alla struttura per chiedere se ci fosse un menù adatto a me. Mi hanno risposto che erano attrezzati e che ci aspettavano per il nostro afternoon tea, l’orario di arrivo era quindi chiaro alla struttura. Abbiamo tardato circa 15 minuti, cosa per la quale ci siamo scusati ma che non sarebbe dovuta essere un problema, perché hanno una tolleranza di 20 minuti entro i quali non è necessario avvisare. Una volta seduti chiedo di poter ordinare per l’afternoo tea e mi dicono che viene servito solo fino alle 17. Mostro la conversazione con la struttura e mi viene detto che lo chef è andato via, ci viene inoltre fatto intendere che “la colpa” sia la nostra per via del ritardo. In pratica dalle 17 niente afternoon tea, però a me era stato fatto prenotare come da conversazione in app per le 17:30. Ci propongono di ordinare dal ristorante, quando stiamo per farlo ci viene detto che invece è possibile avere l’afternoon tea. Scegliamo l’opzione da 45£ che prevede anche un Botanic Cocktail ma quando ne parlo il ragazzo del personale non sembra sapere di cosa si tratti. Ordiniamo quindi il the che arriva senza tazze per berlo, assieme alla comunicazione che l’opzione senza glutine per me non è disponibile perché era finito il pane gluten free. Torniamo al menù ristorante, a prendere questa ordinazione è un altro cameriere al quale chiedo le tazze per bere il the (me ne porta una anche se eravamo in due) e qualcosa gluten free. Mi risponde che c’è una zuppa di verdure che può essere servita con pane senza glutine, al che gli faccio notare che il suo collega mi aveva detto che era finito e lui dice che è strano perché ce l’hanno sempre. Un po’ con la sensazione di essere stati presi in giro decidiamo di pagare quanto arrivato e andarcene Purtroppo pomeriggio rovinato.

Da ottobre in poi non è possibile stare fuori nemmeno nei DoMes. Questo significa che bisogna stare all’interno del ristorante, che non ha nessun atmosfera per L’afternoon tea . Inoltre prezzo assolutamente spropositato per la qualità e la quantità di cibo offerta. Il tè era della marca Tetley Che al supermercato costa due Pounds. 35 € a testa sono assolutamente troppi

My husband & I enjoyed our afternoon tea time to its fullest. It was a unique, wonderful, memorable experience. We will do it again when back in London next time.

Great location- just over the road from entrance to Gloucester Road station and 15 mins walk to Royal Albert Hall. Warm welcome. Pods were great, a unique idea in a pretty garden space behind a church. Private and quiet but plenty warm enough on a freezing day. Staff were friendly and helpful and braved the elements to bring out our excellent food. ( Larissa and Iswari) Food was great - fresh,well presented and good quality. Best scones I've had at an afternoon tea. Excellent value for a London afternoon tea. Would come again.

The Afternoon Tea was magical. It’s Perfect for celebrating special occasions, we went to celebrate my husband Birthday and the personal made a special attention by putting some extra decoration and a gift pastry. A special thank’s for Chris and Rishab.

We booked the outside Garden Dome but due to weather (high winds) we were forced to sit inside. Even though they can’t control the weather it would have been nice to be offered a small bit of compensation like a glass of champagne or small treat to go. This was my very first afternoon tea and the staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the price was fair.
