So so yummy. Don’t have to fly to Japan to eat good sushi anymore. Price is reasonable, food is exceptional, service is outstanding. I’m planning to take my family here again. I ordered the 10 piece omakase and additional items on the menu. To the chef at Akashiro, thank you for a wonderful and delicious meal.

This was definitely one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in the LA region. Every dish was exquisite. The service was fast and attentive and the ambiance is fantastic for a date night.

Friends recommended this place and I gotta say: if you haven't been there yet you're missing out big time. The quality of the fish can't be compared to those sushi places around, it literally melts in your mouth, uni was amazingly fresh and not overwhelmingly strong nor fishy, their ceviche must be the best I've tried, their tiraditos had such a combination of flavors and ingredients that leaves you wanting more. Service was top notch and ambiance was really warm and welcoming, will definitely be back to try everything I'm still missing in the menu.

Had to try the full omakase as I was very curious about their fusion and traditional courses The opening course was Peruvian ceviche with striped bass, quality of the fish and freshness of the lime used was noticeable and addictive, with a twist on the sweet potato garnish this was a great way to start. Next courses did not fall behind with a yuzu shrimp lime and Hokkaido scallop full of flavor that leaves you wanting more. Tiradito and Peruvian causa were plated beautifully, perfect balance of flavor and presentation. Nigiri selection was amazing with a variety to sample in between classic and fusion options. A crunchy nori Handroll and a light Peruvian soup where the perfect palate cleansers to finish with a flavorful Lucuma soufflé. I’ll come back for another round, this defnitley needs to be repeated

The sashimi portions are too small considering the prices. No Asians were there as customers which is a bad sign for a sashimi restaurant. After ordering $152.00 for dinner we were still hungry so we went to McDonalds. Both of us are skeptical of the prior great reviews.

It’s good. I always go to traditional style sushi bar. However, this sushi restaurant is good too.
