My friends and I decided to try out Alaska Chopped and Chowdered and it exceeded our expectations. All of the food was fantastic and the ambiance was really nice.

It was underwhelming. The avocado salad felt unbalanced, the spring greens and pomegranate seeds were a poor match for the caprese avocado. The ambiance is nice and thoughtful. For $68 I got a 7 oz filet that only came with a small amount of lump crab and an overpowering cream sauce. The chowder flight is nicely presented but overly salted bland flavors. I’m not likely to go back.

The food was very fresh & beautifully prepared, great selection! Loved the scallop carbonara & the halibut bites are an absolute must! The service was impeccable! Definitely recommend

They were out of the surf and turf special which was crab and NY steak! I’m a a little disappointed they didn’t try and improvise! We had the scallops carbonara, stuffed mushrooms and chowder! All were incredible!

First visit and we really enjoyed it. Food was fresh and well prepared, great service and the place has a very nice atmosphere

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at chopped and chowed. The service was impeccable as well as the food would highly recommend.

Neither of us thought the food was any good. Rubbery and overcooked lobster entirely covered in mozzarella and buttered bread (billed as lobster rolls) and extremely gristly steak that was inedible

Thank you for your feedback on your dining experience. We regret that it did not meet your expectations. Should any issues arise with your dishes in the future, please let us know while you're still with us, and we will be more than happy to rectify them immediately. Regarding your meal, our lobster grilled cheese sandwich features a blend of Fontina, Gruyère, and mascarpone cheeses. As for the steak, our Certified Angus Beef ribeye is hand-cut in-house. Please note that ribeye, due to its rich marbling, is generally not recommended to be ordered blue-rare because it contains more connective tissue and fat than other cuts. We hope you'll give us another chance to make a better impression with some of our other menu options.

The ambiance was wonderful, the service was great. We were disappointed, overall, with the food. The chowders we tried were very good, though. Our appetizers, however, were “basic” and our entrees were under seasoned. The desserts were fine but nothing I would consider special. Will likely go back for the chowder but not for much else.
