Was excited to visit Alchemy for date night. Now been there done that. Won’t be back. The NOISE level from DJ was so loud could not hear the waitress to order second round nor talk to our guests we brought. Neat concept. Look of the place interesting. Drinks small and pricey but expected that. But the choice of music and loudness was disappointing. Nice light jazz would have fit the night better. Sorry won’t be back. Safe your money and ears and find another bar.

Food highly overpriced for the amount you get. Appetizer $22 for 1 piece of toast and a couple of pieces of salami and cheese.

Amazing ambience, boujie cocktails and delicious food. Friday night was amped up in volume and vibe compared to previous nights. Service was excellent! Great place for a girls night out!

The experience was just okay, there are better bars in edmonton. The front staff were not very welcoming at all. The bar staff and wait staff were friendly though. The drinks we had were alright, I don't think they quite reflected the flavour profiles described and the depth of flavours were not quite there for the price. Heard great things about Alchemy but was quite disappointed.

The food is outrageously expensive for what you get. We ordered the charcuterie plate for $29 and it came with 3 types of meat, 4 slices of bread, and some condiments. No cheese at all. Such a waste of money.

Great night, great service and staff. We had a group of six so had the couch social area which was nice, but because they are a bit spaced it made socializing hard without repeating ourselves, because the DJ was a little overpowering. Other than that is still one of our favourite Edmonton spots.
