   Perhaps the most interesting menu on Hilton Head. The steaks and pork cops are world class in preparation. The infusion of German dishes is unique and delicious. The wine list is interesting and fairly priced. A truly great restaurant.

   Alfred’s was recommended to us by a local friend - what a find! We split a wonderful beet salad that was terrific. Great beverage menu including select German beers. My wife had Mediterranean Halibut - she couldn’t finish it all, but raved about the flavor and quality of the fish. I had slow roasted pork special with schnitzel and red cabbage - it was out of this world. Linda our server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. All-up, highly recommend Alfred’s; high quality, quaint and lovely little boutique restaurant! /jw

   It was our first visit to Alfred’s and we will definitely return. It is small and intimate. You can tell that they take pride in not only their food (the menu and specials were outstanding and a surprise for such a small restaurant) but also in their service and presentation. Definitely check it out.

   Wonderful meal and experience at Alfred’s! We got the French onion soup and seafood mornay for apps. Soup is the best I’ve ever had and the cheese has the perfect amount of gooeyness but comes apart to have some in every bite. My husband almost licked the bowl of his seafood mornay 😃. Mains were the halibut special which comes topped with a German pancake. No words. Huge piece of halibut. Also had the grilled filet which came with mashed and veggies and a pile of sautéed mushrooms. Perfectly cooked and tasty sauce covered the plate. Cocktails were made well and gave us that warm and fuzzy! Ian was our server and perfectly attentive along with the rest of the staff who kept our water filled, brought dinner rolls and cleared plates promptly. Well run place with a friendly and attentive staff. Owner stopped by to check in and ensure we were happy. Highly recommend this amazing restaurant.

   Great meal as always. One of the best restaurant on the Island. Hidden secret. Small setting so it may get load. Would definitely go again. Desserts to die for. Get reservations in advance because it is always full.

   Delicious scallop appetizer, French onion soup and steak! Always a pleasure to dine at this gem of a restaurant. They treated our newlywed son and his wife like family.

    Wonderful dining experience at Alfred's! All the dishes that we had were delicious and generous. Halibut Provencale, Grill Pork Chop w/Apple Compote, and Traditional Wienerschnitzel. The server was well educated on the preparation of the dishes and offered up suggestions too. We had a great evening of enjoyable food and service. We will be sure to go back soon!
