Newly Remolded Alicante Restaurant is a waterfront restaurant that offers picturesque scenery with a relaxed and casual ambiance. It has an impressive menu that consists of unique items. All meals are prepared to order, with fresh produce and only high-quality cuts of meat and seafood. Now Open for Sunday Brunch and Dinner service.

                                                                                I have loved Alicante for years, but something has definitely changed. The remodel looks nice but when you sit at a table without linen cloth, everything bangs and clanks. We were a party of five and one or two clanks we kinda all startled. It was very loud, but the table set up was so awkward chimney people two small space no table linen and we must’ve clank 17 times bring back the linens! Service was excellent as usual, but I felt like they crowded all people into one section when the entire area was open they put everybody in a table next to everyone instead of scattering it about allowing for conversations and privacy. It was not a busy evening and we didn’t need to be herded into the same section. Food was good, but it’s usually excellent and it seemed like the waiters were rushed perhaps not enough.

                                                                                Business Changed hands and the menu and food was drastically changed and imo not better. Food was bland ,portions for the $ were small. For those prices, most would expect a broader menu, better taste

                                                                                Alicante in Mendon ma, gets 5 Stars for every reason an upscale restaurant should. Without the upscale prices. Located next to a lake. Get a window seat, watch the moon rise while you sip on a cocktail. Sit at the bar and meet great folks. I once was a touring musician and dined at some of New Englands finest restaurants. Boston, Providence, etc. Providence being my Favs. Alicante is right there with them. It’s a gold mine. So in a few words, Atmosphere, Service, Cuisine, the view, and parking. Surprise your date, and make a reservation to Alicante. You’ll thank me later.

                                                                                Not up to the high standards Alicante used to uphold. Service was just ok. Food was just ok. The short ribs were salty. The risotto and scallops were fine. Very loud. Could not have a comfortable conversations. Renovations were very impressive.

                                                                                The Alicante Restaurant never fails to please. The food is delightful and for the amount of patrons that were there on New Years Eve, the service was quite good. We arrived a bit ahead of our reservation and were seated promptly. We didn't have to wait long before we had our drinks and our appetizer. Alicante may cost you a few more dollars than other restaurants, but it is well worth it. We will definitely be back for this wonderful experience again.

                                                                                Seated immediately on a busy New Years eve. The wait staff were great as was the food. For such a busy night the noise level was good.

                                                                                We dine here frequently and are always pleased. We dined New Year's Eve and knew it would be crowded, but the wait staff, managers, and bar kept up with everything right from the first seating. We should not have been surprised. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgable and gracious. We look forward to returning again.
