   I've been a fan of Kramerbooks & Afterwords for years, so it's great to see this landmark still going strong. An amazing bookstore, a warm, inviting restaurant attached, delicious food, a friendly and professional team, and welcoming vibe. It has an excellent location, too, right by the Dupont Metro. I wouldn't change a thing about this place!

   We had 6 poeple and I am glad that we made a reservation for there was a perfect large table for us in a quiet raised, partially walled area. It could have seated 8 comfortable and 10 or more with a squeeze and made it easy to be together and hear each other and yet feel a part of the energetic crowd 1/2 a level lower! I think it was the only such table unless you sat in the bar area.

   Overall fine, fairly casual dining experience. Drinks were good. Food is good value. The one HUGE disappointment is the pizza has totally changed. We went there in August and it was exceptional thin-crust ("New Haven style") pizza. This time around it was gross. Thick, chewy, under-done crust and tons of cheese. We came back for the pizza and were so let down!

   Kramer’s is always a sure bet. The friendly staff, the timely and smooth service, and the delicious food - not to mention that I usually buy a book or two when I visit. I had my new regular lunch which is the Mediterranean bowl with salmon. I always sit on the enclosed patio and that’s the sweet spot for me to be outside, but not. Thank you Kramer’s!

   The cutest little spot in DuPont. It was our first time here and a perfect cherry on top of our 11 year anniversary. We came specifically for breakfast and it did not disappoint! The book store is so charming. We’ll be back for sure!
