We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings.

Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees.

Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We have been here multiple times and always have a good experience. Our waiter, Andrew was amazing and knowledgeable on all their dishes.

The food was really tasty, as expected. Good service, everyone was courteous and polite. The place was full, and with the music it was a bit too loud overall. Still a very good experience.

We enjoyed our brunch. Food was wonderful and the small size of the restaurant ensures a pleasant atmosphere.

Incredible!!! Service. Food. Ambiance. Music. Perfection. We didn’t realize there was a time constraint as we were caught up in our convo, and the next table had arrived…so we weren’t able to order the spectacular lemon meringue pie which we were a bit sad about, but then poof! They were so thoughtful and put in a bag for us when we were leaving. That’s the epitome of hospitality. I love it here, the food is perfection. Everything is. Cannot recommend it enough! Wedge salad, tots, chicken, scallops - everything was divine.

I went with my friends a while back and loved it. I came back with the same group and we were all disappointed to say the least. Service was horrible, paid no attention us, and the food was so bad we all went for pizza after. Honestly hope that things get better but I won't be coming back. I don't mind the price as long as the food and service are up to par but this is just a waste of money.

What an amazing place. The food was outstanding and the tunes banging. Their eye for detail was next level. Reservations highly recommended

Very nice little place to eat a delicious food ! I ate at the bar and we were very well treated ! The dishes were full of flavours and the portion generous enough ! A place i really recommend.
