   Lovely setting, tasty food. Eggplant dip, burrata, and side brussel sprouts wonderful. Service was great, very attentive.

   Alora blew me away! I came for my bday and everyone was raving about the food and service. everything was delicious and we tried most of the menu. cocktails were delish too. thank you to the amazing staff!

   The food at Alora is very good. BUT we waited an hour for our entrees to arrive at the table. No exaggeration - a full hour! And the restaurant wasn't busy. The servers didn't come by while we were waiting to let us know what was happening, refill water glasses, or anything. Really, really bad form. I will be very hesitant to go there again.

   The atmosphere was cold and uninviting. The waitress forgot our appetizer and never checked on us after serving our meal. The meat was though and was too lemony in flavor. No reason to go back to this restaurant again.

   Alora is a fantastic addition to the Embarcadero food scene. Every dish is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are lovely & service is great. I’m very now been several times since they opened and am never disappointed.

   we had a lovely experience at Elora. We sat outside. The view was beautiful the breeze wonderful the service just absolutely amazing the food so yummy. You have to come and check out this great new restaurant right on the water on the Embarcadero.

   Nice setting on water - good (not great) over priced food. The outdoor patio is nice near the water, but the heat lamps made it overly hot - the inside seating would have been much more comfortable. The food was interesting but really expensive - a starter plate with a few crudites, a small side of bread and 3 small dips was delicious was $40; I would have thought $25 was a fairer price. The waiter let me taste a wine, which was super nice, and the wine pours were generous. I ordered a 2nd glass midway through our meal and it never came, luckily we just struck it from the bill. Seems catered to tourists and the tour boats that dock nearby.

    I've been to Alora a number of times and it is consistently good; the food is excellent, the ambience welcoming, and it isn't too noisy to have a good conversation. There were four of us most recently and we had a great time.
