Welcome to wine inspired cuisine, where every dish is meticulously crafted to harmonize with the discerning palate of a Master Sommelier. Led by Alpana Singh, the youngest woman and first South Asian to conquer the Master Sommelier exam, our menu blurs the lines between food and wine, ensuring each recipe is a symphony of balance, texture, and flavor.                                                                     I used to enjoy Alpana, but the food and service have severely declined. After confirming that we would be seated at our requested table, they gave it to another party, tried to shove us at a small table outside of the main dining area even though the restaurant was half empty. The servers did not clear our plates between courses, tried to shove the old plates over with the new ones before our waiter intervened then dropped, plopped them onto the table. The food was sloppy and bland. The first bite of my entree was pure fat which I had to discreetly dispose of. And the layer cake, which I’ve previously enjoyed, has been reduced to a single layer of dry sheet cake with frosting. Worst of all, Alpana herself was rude and unpleasant. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

                                                                    Went for a Thanksgiving meal. We both ordered the turkey breast dinner. About 1/3 of my husband's turkey was gristle and bone. The portion was on the small side. The wine, salad, soup and dessert were very good, but the turkey was very disappointing, especially at the price point we paid.

                                                                    We had the pleasure of having our Thanksgiving meal at Alpana’s last year so we tried it again this year and were even more impressed by the food AND hospitality. (That turkey and stuffing!) We’re thankful for such an experience.

                                                                    We had a reservation at 8 pm but got there a little early. They could not seat us right away. A table did not become available for sometime after 8 as well. Their waiting area was terrible almost non existent. Then they seated us by the door which had a cold draft blowing in every time someone walked in. Upon our request they were very quickly able to move us to another table luckily. The food was outstanding and so was the service. They have a complete vegetarian menu available too. Very flavorful perfectly prepared dishes.

                                                                    Alpana is a lovely, one-of-a-kind space with outstanding food and attentive, friendly service. We had an exceptional meal which included the polenta with mushrooms, crispy brussels sprouts with saba (so good!), hearty mushroom ravioli and perfectly cooked salmon--and of courser, an excellent bottle of wine. Everything is so good yet the ambience is anything but pretentious - it's a bit like being at the best dinner party ever (that just happens to be in a stylish restaurant).

                                                                    This is my second time dining here and both experiences have been exceptional. The food is amazing; good selection and consistently delicious, the wait staff are very knowledgeable and clearly enjoy working there and of course the wine selection is second to none. I look forward to my next visit to try something new from the menu!

                                                                    From the decor, ambiance, service down to their menu selections, Alpana brought an amazing experience that will surely entice your senses. We truly enjoyed everything here. I personally loved the French Onion soup and the quiche, also not to forget the endless pour of mimosas. I also had the chance to taste their braised beef Benedict and it was phenomenal. We will visit Alpana again and try more dishes.
