   It was too crowded to enjoy. Our server was overwhelmed and rude until the end. Our food barely came out during our time and when it did it was over cooked and most of it came out in the end , 2 hours later. One plate of cevapas came out with 4 , the other with 2. The other waiters and bus boys apologized to us several times at how we were treated during our meal. We really appreciated that. It showed that they were aware of our treatment. Great concept and we wish them well but if you don’t have enough servers for the day, don’t seat people and ruin their experience.

   I highly recommend brunch for anyone looking to indulge in great food and a fantastic atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

   Serveurs were too busy to give us mimosa, and several gap between food services. We upped for the mimosas bottomless but had to flag the waiter to request and then 10 minutes to get refill. I’m sure they’ll get the things figured out over the next few weeks. Ill definitely try it again

   The food was great, along with the ambience. Our server was really good but very busy, a few hiccups along the way. Overall very good food, great vibe and the food came out quickly and very nicely presented. We would come back again.

   First time there after hearing about this place, I was impressed from the second. I walked in beautiful place amazing food and stuff unbelievable specially Stefan . If I could, I would give them 10 stars I’m highly recommending this place!!

   This is second time that we dined at Ambar Chicago. First time it was absolutely amazing. But this time it was not as good. The food was great but the service not at all. Our waiter was very difficult to get seeing. We need to ask others waiter who passed to get our guy Whenever the food was brought to the table it was with out any explanation what they bringing. Look like everyone was in the rush. Some dishes that we ordered was never served. Anyway very disappointed with the service

   Interesting concept,all you can eat Balkan food, which turns out to be a whole almagam of Eastern European/ Mediterranean food. Not sure it will work here, in the city of big shoulders and Chicago-grown, red meat boys who will chase the concept to the limit. Anyway, they’ll bring you out a tray of dips and a really good pita type bread, to start, which are all really good. One thing I can say for sure; DO NOT order everything you want at once, because it will all come out at once. Order a few dishes at a time, then order a few more, until you’re done. What we like: Grilled halloumi, beet salad, Balkan kebab, drunken mussels, grilled shrimp. We didn’t like a few things, or more than a few. I would avoid anything that comes with a pasta, as it overwhelmingly is the most part of the dish. And, I’m actually too tired to continue right now. It’s late . I have to go to bed. Maybe I’ll come back to this maybe not. Good night
