The original Leopold Hotel served the first legal post-Prohibition cocktail in town, so we have a tradition to uphold.
Weary travelers need a place to unwind and have a cocktail and a bite after checking in. For those who live here year-round, an additional cocktail bar in Bellingham is always a welcome addition to the local landscape.

HOURS:
Tuesday - Thursday 4 - 10 pm | Friday + Saturday 4 pm - 12 am
Happy Hour 4 - 6 pm | $8 Atomic Highballs + Discounts on food, beer, and cocktails

It's not a Bellingham happy hour, late night, or just because night without delicious food to accompany your expertly crafted cocktails, and Amendment 21 has you covered. Whether you're craving snacks or want to make it a meal, our classic shareable and main dishes satisfy any craving.

                                                          Great ambiance, relaxed, comfortable, upscale. Delightful live music. Great service. Our Manhattans were some of the best we have had. The wine (Willamette Pinot) was delicious and went well with the excellent duck confit (vegetables extra). Desert (chocolate moose) seemed like an afterthought. Ok but not up to the caliber of the rest of the meal. Expensive but reasonable value considering although I would have preferred that vegetables were included with the entre. Will go again I am sure.

                                                          What an experience, I'm super happy that I chose here for their special Thanksgiving dinner. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, the staff was professional and very friendly, and the atmosphere of not just the dining room but the hotel itself is exceptional. Awesome experience all around.

                                                          Mother’s Day brunch - very limited options, no child menu, just didn’t seem to be set up for families with younger kids. Service was very slow, they weren’t even full, can’t imagine what the wait would have been if they were actually at capacity.

                                                          The food was good although not great. The service was very good and pleasant. Seating at a communal table for dinner was not our favorite but worked out okay. The violinist was way too loud for the room.
