The food was good but they only let you do a buffet on Friday night so the service experience was lacking. It took at least 10 minutes for a waiter to come over and offer drinks. There were more mains (proteins) than sides. The desserts were pretty good. As a pregnant person, I wish they had more non alcoholic drink options. There was a pianist and dance floor which was fun but definitely made it loud. Quite a mix of what they allow in terms of dress code- some people in jeans and sweatshirts and some in suit and tie. Overall not worth almost $200 for 2 people for a buffet, but the food was good.

I wish I could give a better review as I have better memories of meals there in past years. First off, they need to expand the menu. I think there were 4 entree options. It is quite pricey (as is all food at The Homestead) and they should deliver top quality. The filet had a texture comparable to a short rib - kind of stringy. There were 3 asparagus spears and a serving spoon of mashed potatoes served with it for $60. The trout salad was tasty but hardly any salad greens to speak of. It should be listed as an appetizer rather than a salad. Service was spotty most of the time even though the dining room was maybe 10% occupied. It's a lovely setting always with a delightful pianist.

The food was mediocre and the attention to service detail was lacking. Very pricey for what you get.

My sea bass was over cooked. Overall the food was good but probably not worth the 4 course price. We still had a lovely evening and really enjoyed the piano music.

Our server Fernando was fantastic! All of the food was also amazing. We were happy we went with the Prix Fixe menu, which was well worth the price. Our daughter was especially excited at the amazing Smores dessert at the end of the evening.

It was not advertised as a buffet and the food was cold. There was no service and we were in and out of the restaurant in 30 min. Expensive for very poor buffet food and no service. Would never eat there again. Very disappointing!
