   The food was outstanding!We went there three times during our month in Bonita springs! We have been to Italy and Sicily multiple times and we felt like we were back there with the food at Amfora.The wood fire octopus was just like what we ate in Sicily.The sausage appetizer was delicious.The apple carrot salad was fresh and tasty.We shared a whole Branzino-the sauce of tomatoes, olives, and olive oil was sweet and salty all at once-the fish was perfectly cooked and wonderful.On our second trip there I had the veal chop cooked in the wood fired oven-it was tender and delicious-the portion was enough for two! I tried the Halloumi cheese appetizer-wish a citrus topping-it was a taste sensation. On our third trip we had a wood fired pizza-as good as any we had in Italy!Overall, Amfora has become our favorite restaurant in Bonita Springs!And the staff is friendly and helpful

   I cannot understand why this place isn’t packed. The Mezze starter is fantastic - genuine Baba ganoush, truly authentic Hummus and the best bread in the area. Whole fish was deboned expertly and was just delicious. Service could be better. Even with so few the table was not cleaned before the next course came out. But the food! Go!

   It had been a while since we were back. The food was amazing. The portions were large and the service was excellent. But highly recommend this restaurant.

   Nice menu with some creative dishes. At sunset the sun shines right in everyone’s face for about 30 minutes so that was a negative. Service was below what I would expect from a dinner only restaurant.

   The food was very good, the prices were reasonable, but our waiter left a lot to be desired. He was not very personable, not very attentive, and when asked for a “to go” box, he had to be reminded twice!

   Food was only ok. The service was bad. One waiter serving the whole reataurant. He was clearly not happy to be there…appearance was not tidy and not very friendly. Slow service - we had to flag him down just to take our order. Tagliatelle was overcooked but the seafood with it was good and plentiful. The mezze platter was small and the hummus was runny. Flatbread had burned edges. We asked for a chiller to hold our bottle of white wine. No such thing. Waiter said “it’s over chilled already.” Tables are too high for the chairs so we all felt we were kids sitting at the adult table. Chairs are not comfortable - no cushions on resin chairs. All together did not make for an enjoyable night out. Will not return.

    We had an awesome experience and this was the best restaurant we had eaten at in a month down here. It felt like we were in a European cafe. The mezze was very good. The apple salad was beautiful and delicious! The stuffed squid was tender and tasty. Please go out and support this family owned and operated Mediterranean delicious bistro!!! Our waiter was so nice and attentive!!
