Here at Amuse we cook from the heart, sourcing outstanding regional ingredients always in season to ensure they are at their peek. Our style is modern Scottish with French notes, elegantly presented and packed full of natural flavours where the ingredients take centre stage. Our menus change with the seasons to celebrate the arrival of new produce.

We are small dedicated team working together to give you a memorable experience, whether it's a few classic cocktails perfectly made in The Snug, bespoke tasting menu in our private dining room or a long lazy Sunday lunch with the family.

Our aim is simply to make you feel happier than when you first walked through our doors.

Amuse was amazing as always. It was my friend's first time there, i had spken so much about Amuse that, she had to try. And she did agree with me totaly. I'ts too bad that i live abroad.

Ambiance was great. The staff were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. They knew the dishes and could answer all our questions. The food was delicious. Beautifully presented. Great to try some new combinations. Wonderful evening.

Wonderful starter and main course. Well worth the money for them but dessert was a bit average and slightly overdone in my opinion. Although restaurant was warm, the toilets were freezing so had an impact on overall temperature and ambience when returning to seat.

The food and service was pleasant in general although place settings and presentation was less than expected. There was also a table of patrons where language was very choice and loud which was disappointing.

Fantastic experience. Wonderful food. Friendly and welcoming service. The curried cauliflower soup was amazing. The beef with trimmings was delicious. We really enjoyed our meal at Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish.

The food is excellently cooked, ambience is lovely. Not a lot on your plate and left still hungry after 3 courses.

We were gifted vouchers to visit from our sons for Christmas. After reading some reviews we were really excited about our visit. Unfortunately on this occasion it did not live up to our expectations. The food was “nice” but not outstanding and it didn’t blow us away at all. If I’m honest it was not worth the price we paid. We had to ask three times for our bread which had been ordered and on two occasions for our table water. Hence the 3 stars given for service, Just didn’t meet the standard we expected or the reputation that this restaurant has established. Shame but I doubt we would go back.
