The name “Amylos” denotes our passion for food and bringing to you Greece’s authentic flavors. We carefully chose the most original recipes ranging from various regions in Greece; starting from the southern Aegean islands to the northern mainland, each region has its own unique take on cooking. Amylos, meaning the “building blocks of food”, is synonymous to our concept of building a sustainable menu created from pure raw materials, attention to detail, nonnegotiable standards, and ingredients of the finest quality. Complete your pallet by indulging in our selective wine list which takes you through a journey of the old to new world. This, coupled with warm and friendly service, and our inviting, cozy ambiance are what make up the ingredients of Amylos’ recipe for “philoxenia”.                                                                                                                                           Have lived in Astoria all my life and we just moved a couple blocks up closer to Broadway and 36th Street. A friend of mine recommended the place as we’ve tried almost every Greek Taverna in ditmars. Amazing food and a perfect date night spot, definitely going to be coming back with friends and family
