                                                No mussels, no octopus. Then tried to order spinach and chickpea croqueta and they had no spinach so they were “substituting” pulled pork. Mussels were substituted with beans. Cook did as well as he could given circumstances. Drinks very good. I had gin and tonic Spanish Blossum

                                                Super disappointed that the limited menu and quality of the food doesn’t match up he ambience. I should have known something was up because the restaurant had limited patrons on a Sunday.

                                                If you’re looking for a top-tier dining experience in Old San Juan, Andaluz is the place to be! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. The food is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is a masterpiece, packed with rich and vibrant flavors. From appetizers to desserts, everything was fresh and expertly prepared. What truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Calil. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food and drink offerings. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made us feel like we were the most important guests in the restaurant. His excellent service added a personal touch that elevated the entire dining experience. Andaluz is a must-visit when in Old San Juan. With its incredible food, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service, it’s a dining experience you won’t soon forget. Highly recommend!

                                                I loveeeeeeed the place, the food, the service, Calil was the best, he gave excellent recomendations and make sure we understand everything. La torrija and martini cafe español es un must. Volveremos definitivamente.

                                                Great meal and excellent service! The restaurant was hopping with live music as well. Definitely worth getting off your ship to have a unique foodie experience in Old San Juan.

                                                I want to start with my compliments - the food was absolutely outstanding and the food runner that brought our different plates out did a great job of explaining everything. It was cute inside and the live music added a nice vibe to the experience. We got a few tapas, one of the starter dishes, and a main dish, and the portions were perfect for the two of us. Highly HIGHLY recommend the tomatini and the pork belly (can’t remember the Spanish name). Now onto the things that we didn’t love - we were sat at a table in a hallway of some sorts, right by the entrance and it took about 15 minutes after being seated before someone came to greet us/ask about water. I’d like to think it was because of where our table was located and not because we were forgotten. Personally, I don’t believe there should be a table there, it’s far away from the rest of the tables/restaurant. Secondly, our server was a little off putting, which started when we said we were not getting a bottle of champagne. From there, once we told her what we were planning on getting, it seemed like she stopped caring once she realized we weren’t each getting an entree and instead sharing a couple of things. Overall it was a good experience and the food was great but the service wasn’t ideal.
