As tourists, we read the reviews on this platform with great enthusiasm and decided to visit for my girlfriend’s birthday. The atmosphere is truly wonderful—very cosy and welcoming. However, if the place is crowded, the noise might be a bit bothersome.
The real issue, though, is the menu and the food. First of all, I want to emphasise again that we are tourists. While a handwritten and photocopied menu might be a charming detail for locals, it wasn’t very convenient for us. If the food menu had been professionally printed, like the wine menu, we could have made a more informed choice. Instead, we relied on a recommendation from the waiter, without fully understanding the options.
The result? Honestly, a disappointment. We ended up with breaded chicken, a few potatoes on the side, and pasta with chickpeas, spinach, and tomatoes. If the menu had been more readable, we might have chosen something else. Nevertheless, I wanted to share my experience.
On a positive note, the wine selection is extensive and truly excellent. This place is definitely worth considering for just wine and a few appetisers.
