Angel Oak at The Ritz-Carlton Santa Barbara exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was breathtaking, with stunning ocean views and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. Every dish was a masterpiece, showcasing impeccable flavors and presentation. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Our favorite dining experience on our drive north. It’s a beautiful venue with spectacular ocean sunset views, the staff is experienced and excellent. The chef prepares exquisite fish, and meat dishes, along with seasonal side dishes, and fabulously innovative desserts in addition to classics like cheesecake! Nice pre dinner center bar for cocktails!

Amazing place , loved the ambience and aesthetic look all over. We were able to catch the sunset and it was worth the view. Food and drink are 10/10 definitely coming back.

Very disappointing. Everything else at the Ritz Carlton Bacara is so first class, that I had high expectations for Angel Oak. First of all our table wobbled. Badly. That was easily fixed with a wedge. We ordered parker rolls with a lot of anticipation. They were unexpectedly sweet and doughy; not very good. I had the wedge salad which was okay, nothing special. For my entree I had the chicken with root vegetables. It was low on veg, some carrots and dried apricot. It was good but not spectacular. Overalll the meal was mediocre and hugely overpriced for the quality.

My steak was salted correctly on one half and the other half was so over salted I could barely eat it. My son’s steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well. Not what I expected from a $300 dinner.

Loved Joe. He was great with recommendations. Seabass and scallops were superb. Must start with the rolls and lobster. Truffle fries and Brussels on the side were delicious.
