Opening Angelo Pizza, Bar and Tapas restaurant was a passion of Chef Angelo Elia for more than eight years. While Casa D"Angelo has been a place for him to showcase his depth of Italian technique, he wanted to create a restaurant that felt more like the simple Italy he visits year after year where ingredients are at the forefront. A place where you could come and sit and pick at food as you want with friends. But it didn't come that easy. Like all things that are simple, careful thought and research has gone into the menu and the guarded sources of our premium ingredients. In the end, Angelo Elia Pizza is all about friends and a good bottle of wine enjoyed in a contemporary, easy dining atmosphere. The Herb Crusted Snapper was perfectly prepared, with flavorful taste and wonderful presentation. The Bucatini was delectable and pasta flawless. Chef Amadeus certainly prepares from the heart. Thank you manager Luca and staff for the usual professional hospitality and graciousness. Together, this team has created a special dining gem.

The snapper entree with angel hair was beautiful, delicious and flavorful, and perfectly plated. The veal Fiorentina was prepared and presented second to none. Chef Amadeus continues to hit it out of the ballpark. Manager Luca has the pulse of the customers and staff, and provides a warm, inviting and friendly dining atmosphere. Server Luisa is always professional and accommodating. We appreciate all!

The food is mediocre. The service was as well. The price/value relationship is very poor. Way too expensive for what you receive.

My husband loved the branzini. I ordered two starters & could only eat one because they were so huge. Service was impeccable— water was continuously refilled. Everyone was friendly & available. We have certainly found a gem. Plenty of parking as it is in a shopping strip & there’s a great Happy Hour in the bar area.

I am Italian so my standard is high when I am cooking or eating pasta/ pizza out! This restaurant is good but it’s not great. There are a lot of options when you are looking for an Italian meal in south Florida and I can’t say that this felt relatively special. That said, clean restaurant, good service.

Interesting experience. The food was excellent. My companions and I opted for the standard menu fair and saved the pizza selection for the future. Our server was most knowledgeable and attentive. There several monitors featuring a variety of scenes, this provided an interesting distraction. It was a fairly busy evening with some background chatter and clatter, which did not distract from the dining experience. Once again, the food was excellent. I plan to return to enjoy some of the other morsels.

We enjoyed the ambiance along with the food and wine. For starters, we had a charcuterie that was generous and artistic. The cheese and meat selections were perfect. We also ordered Brussel Sprouts that were surprisingly delicious! We truly loved our experience all around. Thank you, Danny!
