   We truly enjoyed our evening at Angelo’s. The cocktails were amazing and the food was delicious. The service was very good.

   This restaurant came highly recommended by friends, and while it seemed to start on the right foot, our overall experience was anything but. First, as a rare positive, our waiter was exceptionally attentive and nice. Unfortunately he was limited by the very strict “rules” of the restaurant so there was only so much he could do. When we made the reservation for 10 people, we were never told about the restaurant’s “seasonal 3 course menu” which REQUIRED each person to only order from the 3 course menu. While they had individual items, you were not permitted to order those items unless and until you ordered the mandatory 3 course option. This held true even for our 4, 10 and 13 year old at the table. There were no other options for them and we were never told this before making the reservation. When we asked the manager if the kids could at least order something off the regular items, she VERY RUDELY dismissed us and firmly demanded that each patron, including children, order from the 3 course menu. As for the food itself, I would put it at a solid 3.5 of 5 stars. Not bad, but certainly nothing I would crave or go out of my way to suggest. Hopefully they are able to fix their issues before next season, as I do believe the restaurant has potential. Just a “no go” for me until they can act like a restaurant at the level they are trying to achieve.

   Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. Your visit coincided with our first night of transitioning to our off-season format—a shift from our full à la carte menu to a more curated 3-course offering. We now realize this change wasn’t clearly communicated and may have felt limiting, especially for families. We're especially sorry for how the situation with the kids’ meals was handled, and that management’s response didn’t reflect our usual hospitality. We’d love the chance to welcome you back in season and make it up to you.

   Foccacia was dry, as in "Colorado dry", sItting out uncovered (I bake bread). Nice Buttermilk salad, but lacked salt. Not a problem... personal taste. (No salt on the table.) Ordered a daily special bucatini cacio de pepe. How does a cheese based pasta dish lack SALT? I traded a bite with my husband whose one comment was, "Needs salt.". His pasta was well seasoned. The music was SOOOOO LOUD. At first, it was amusing but at the end we practically ran out the door of the restaurant. Then MORE music in the stairs and entry. Choose to put our coats on outside to escape the super loud music, AND THERE WAS LOUD music OUTSIDE!! Service was fine but abrupt. In fine dining, one person's plate is not removed before the whole table's, and dishes are not stacked - he was not a busboy. Training. Only one person serving looked me in the eye out of about four or five. Three people, three glasses of wine, three salads, three pasta entrees, almost $500.
