Rated as one of Melbourne’s best value dining experiences, we invite you to share in a truly unique dining experience at our award winning training venue the Angliss Restaurant.

Angliss Restaurant is the Institute's flagship venue and the home of the Great Chefs program. The Angliss Restaurant provides a professional-standard training environment for our students and an affordable dining experience for guests. The food style offered at Angliss is a fusion of contemporary and classical influences. Guests will enjoy culinary delights from final year apprentice chefs and cookery students and impeccable fine dining service provided by hospitality students.

Lavish three course buffet lunches and dinners are also available throughout the year. These offer excellent value, with choices including soup, salads, hot dishes, roast carvery and a selection of desserts.

    A pleasant experience was had by my husband and I. The food was excellent, the honey pannacotta with toasted granola and pecans was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time. A totally enjoyable meal. We thought the chefs and hospitality staff did a wonderful job. We will definitely return. Thank you

    The most only thing I would change is, if you must have background music, perhaps instrumental only. Something nondescript. Music is very personal

    Our dining experience was wonderful as we had lovely, attentive staff serving us and the food was delicious. The crispy quail, blue eye curry and pistachio cake were the standout dishes. Thank you to all at Angliss Restaurant for making my birthday a special one.

    Six friends enjoy the delicious lunch at Angliss restaurant for $40 each. Service is good. Environment is excellent. Food cooking is average. Very hard booking.

    All was delicious and beautifully presented. Wait staff polite and genuinely wanting to do a good job. We feel welcomed and looked after firing our dining experience. Our favourite dishes were, Entree - Pork Belly, Main -Beef Cheek, and Dessert - Banana Tart Tatin - Yum !! It was our first experience at the restaurant and we really look forward to returning. The students should really be commended, we were impressed!
