We had an okay experience for the fact that there are so many excellent restaurants in Houston to compare. We were 3 people Pros: Our server was kind, courteous, knowledgeable, overall very pleasant to interact with Pastries in pastry basket were very good Con’s: Waited 30min even going with a reservation- they told us we would wait 10min We were given a bad location table by the front entrance with a flimsy table each time someone passed by the right pass by our table it would move- given by the entrance it was every 30seconds. Both my dish and my daughter’s dish were good, but average. We weren’t impressed considering that this is a high regarded restaurant. Ir was my birthday, they offered me a free dessert when we already ate sweet pastries. So no effort to do something else, maybe a drink etc We won’t be going back

The salmon was over cooked and difficult to eat. We were rushed to order so the kitchen could close. I don’t plan to return.

Great food, service and atmosphere. The cold weather scared off many diners but the food was terrific. We had French onion soup, the beet salad, duck confit and branzino at our table, and all were delicious. Tried two special cocktails-mine was Night in Paris! Zach was a a friendly and informative server. Loved the winter decor too.

The ambience and decor is amazing. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and it provided plenty of great pics. But it's a restaurant and so the food is the most important part. We wanted to try as many items on the menu so went with multiple appetizers, split the scallops, and ordered two deserts. This gave us a great intro to the restaurant and we will be coming back. Highly recommend the escargots and octopus. You could get two of each and that could be your meal. I plan to go back to try their steaks. This time around we stuck with seafood and the flavors were on point.

Love this place but would suggest you skip the bone marrow. The bones are extremely shallow so there is maybe one small spoon of marrow out of the two bones you get. Very disappointing. They also don’t even give you a little spoon to scoop the marrow so had to use my butter knife. For such an upscale place was surprised by this oversight. Everything else is great. Would still go back.

Really just went for a nice meal to celebrate birthdays and a recent wedding and we were a bit pressured to make a bunch of instagram moments - we are all in our 50s… we just wanted to enjoy the company and not be in the middle of a free marketing campaign. The food was above average, but portions were more Texas, less French, so a lot was left on the plates. Dessert was split, yet no one asked to split - everyone ordered their own thing. We would have liked to have chosen who shared what. Overall, a beautiful looking restaurant, everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves, and we really did as well, but just not our crowd.

Annabelle Brasserie is an awesome place for date night! The ambience and decorations reminded me of a restaurant I’ve gone to in Nancy, France. Sophia took care of us the whole night and shared great recommendations for cocktails and an excellent wine pairing with dinner. We had the escargot, lobster salad, Parisienne steak frites, and crème brûlée. The portion sizes have been adjusted to Texas, so you definitely get more value for you $$$ in this restaurant. I’m looking forward to going back as there are several menu items we still want to try.

Enjoyed it even more than the last time. Steaks were good,…leave room for the ice cream sundae espresso shot dessert.
