    The chef/owner at Anthony's Clamhouse is a genius. Everything I've ever eaten there was amazing. We go regularly.

    Christmas Eve dinner menu was excellent. Accommodated kids requests..pasta with butter or sauce😀. Grateful for that! We absolutely love their bread and dipping oil! Service was top notch.

    Our Christmas Eve/birthday dinner was an exceptional treat for this party of 4. We made reservations for 7pm and were promptly seated. The ambiance is old time local family Italian American style- just the atmosphere that I was looking to share with my best friend and our two sons; neither of whom had ever experienced the magical “Feast of the Seven Fishes”, which Anthony’s was featuring this day (they also featured several non-fish and vegetarian dishes if you can’t or don’t like seafood/shellfish) Bread and dipping oils/butter were placed and quickly devoured by the crew. We ordered various appetizers including the fried calamari with a side cup of sauce and roasted grape tomatoes, buratta cheese with prosciutto, Caesar salad, beet and orange salad. Our entrees were varied , with a delicious pork ossobuco with rigatoni , beautifully braised and season; grouper francese with penne in lieu of the asparagus and mashed potatoes that were the sides; fiocchi alla carbonara (pear and cheese “purses” similar to small ravioli with a creamy carbonara. All delicious and warm. Desserts? Cannoli, lava cake with vanilla ice cream (like a deconstructed tortoni), amaretto di Saronno , and crème brûlée. Interestingly enough , no one selected the feast fish, which consisted of clams, mussels, mahi, shrimp, crab, lobster bits and scallops . I am in love with neighborhood mom and pops. The prices were not over the top, but the good and service were! Thanks, Anthony’s . Can’t wait for your Easter menu!

    Unfortunately we didn't know there was a limited holiday menu. We invited an 80 year old couple that are extremely picky eaters. They had studied the menu ahead of time and knew what they wanted to order. But those dishes were not available. We ask for spaghetti and meatballs. Also the waitress was annoyed with us for asking for something special and told us why they dont do substitutions on holidays. She did make an effort to accommodate with upcharges. No spaghetti available so made due with penne pasta and 2 meatballs from appetizer list. We frequent Anthonys and this experience taught us to avoid a holiday dinner here.

    The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. A great dinner!

    We went for Christmas Eve dinner.. Ordered a Caesar salad ..not even half finished with the salad the entree came out. Food was delicious..I understand that they want to turn over tables.. we had a 5 PM revs. at 6PM we had finished dinner and left at 6:10. It was rushed no need since they said the next seating was at 7 pm. There were other tables available. Will go back.. but now I know NOT to order all the food at once.

    My friend and I went for dinner on a Friday night. The reservation system is flawed - I confirmed my reservation by text immediately, but received 5 more texts and an email requesting verification. Very annoying. Upon being seated the server stated that the kitchen was backed up and I sneezed to be patient. She stated that they were too busy catering. My food was very disappointing - the clams were very over cooked, tough and chewy. My friend did enjoy her meal but I did not eat mine. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are several others in the area with better food, service and value for the price charged.

    It was a busy night but service was excellent. Table in middle near pole was awkward. Great martinis.....as was the calamari appetizer....Other food was also very good. We would go back but would be sure to get reservations and hope for the same waitress. (The outside restaurant sign is hard for first time guests to see...we passed it 2 times .
