    Service was subpar and not because it was NYE. Table next to us walked out after sitting there for a long time with no one checking on them. Good food often overcomes poor service but that wasn’t the case on this visit. The champagne was good, though.

    Our waitress seemed to be having a pretty off night. She kept spilling water on me, and our table, was carrying a knife around the restaurant, kept delivering the wrong dishes. It was bizarre, but I think this was an unusual experience and the food was fantastic.

    Had a 7 pm reservation on Christmas Eve. Arrived early & went to the bar. Bartender was great & so were our French 75 & Old Fashion. We were seated by 7:30 which was fine since we could see they were packed & we were enjoying talking to the bartender. Gumbo was very good & so were the Lamb & Lentils and the Salmon. I could have done with more than 1/2 of 1 fingerling potato, but let’s face it, I really didn’t need it. Dessert was Bread pudding and Crème Brûlée. Both very nice. Overall a great, relaxing experience. Service was exceptional. We’ll return for their brunch for sure.

    Our waiter Blaine was excellent! My champagne was always full and cold. He was attentive and friendly

    Fabulous service and food! It was our Anniversary and they gave us free glasses of champagne! Our second time and we will be back !

    My first experience at this restaurant and thought it was wonderful! Very good food along with a variety of options on the menu that all looked great. Outside of the food and menu options, I do not like restaurants that enforce a 4% tip for the kitchen plus a 20% auto gratuity. That’s 24% forced onto the consumer. Not a fan of this at all. There are several great restaurants in NO so it will be tough for me to return to this place with this fee practice. If this doesn’t concern you as a consumer, then give them a try. But for me, it’s possibly a “one and done” experience.
