Always grateful for kind treatment, excellent food, and pleasant surroundings. Just wish it were warm enough to sit outside!

The portions on the prix fixe ment are incredibly small, so really the value is quite poor.

My duck l’orange was great, the sole was good but not great according to my husband. The timing was a bit off as the sides came out 5 minutes before the mains. They consistently tried to serve my husband my food. I’m not sure if it was assuming the fish goes to the woman and the duck goes to the man but it just shouldn’t happen.

I reserve a French bistro. i was expecting a nice quiet place or calm song at background but the electronic music was so loud more like bar not bistro.. the French onion soup has no onion only bone broth and bread.. but the tartar was really good.. Food no great but not bad..

The steak was so tender the scalloped potatoes are a must have and the flan was delicious

Whenever in the South End, we always try to eat here. Tables are somewhat close together, and the conversation of a party of 4 sitting close to us was intrusive. I love the onion soup, but was disappointed at the amount of croutons it contained. The overwhelmed the delicious broth. Side salad was delicious.

Everything was delicious and our server was great. I mentioned off handedly that I’m pregnant and without prompting, he brought our salad with cheese on the side in case I didn’t feel comfortable eating it. (The whole pasteurization thing.) He was very personable and attentive. I had the sole meunière and it was so good.

The ambiance of Aquitaine is about all that’s outstanding. The service was rushed, often forgetting things until reminded, to extremely rude. The dining experience started with us not getting the bottle of wine we ordered until mid-meal, only after we reminded the server. He blamed it on the bartender, but came back with the bottle within a minute. Next, my food came out cold. Not warm, not lukewarm, cold to the touch. They flashed it in the broiler and brought it back out mushy, dry, and overcooked, having turned it over to hide the cut side so I wouldn’t notice it was the same dish. Lastly, we paid and were enjoying the remainder of the bottle we ordered when the host came over and asked us to get up so he could seat another party. We weren’t even in the restaurant for two hours and still had wine in the bottle. Honestly, spare yourself. There are a handful of significantly better French restaurants in town where quality extends beyond interior. Depressing.
