    Aretsky’s Patroon is now our favorite New York restaurant. Period. From the moment we entered we were warmly greeted snd shown to our table. A few minutes later Gene Aretsky came up to our table to thank us for our patronage and to make sure we found everything to our liking. He was followed by our waiter, Stefan, an exemplar of elegance and efficiency. We ordered our meal — we split a Caesar salad, my wife ordered the halibut and I ordered one of their signature steaks. Then, as we were enjoying our salad, the owner, Ken Aretsky, approached our table and made us feel like old friends. It was a memorable evening to say the least. The food was excellent, both beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. Aretsky’s Patroon should be at the top of the list for anyone looking for a restaurant that lives up to the best New York that the city has to offer.

    This is what a great New York City steak house is all about - friendly service, great portions without being excessive and straightforward preparation and presentation.

    Excellent service and food was very good. Highly recommend the Bronzino . Staff very attentive . 4 star rating only due to chair which was uncomfortable and noise level and tight seating. Otherwise excellent

    Outstanding. Spectacular food (don’t miss the CAB steak or the dover sole and always leave room for desserts). The service is impeccable. We brought a special bottle for a business dinner and Gene was so gracious and waived our corking fee. An exceptional dining experience for either a social evening or business meeting. If you have a chance…go!
