Food is always a 10/10!! We had to wait for our table due to reservation bottlenecks, but once we were seated, the food and drinks were impeccable.

This will be my fifth time going to Aromas and I was looking forward to eating Aji de Gallina. As a Peruvian, I would say, this is my favorite dish and even my American girlfriend was stoked to try it; unfortunately they did not have it and the waitress stated it was due to Valentine’s Day. Moreover, I ordered anticuchos and our entrees as well, however, our entrees came prior to the appetizer. Everything came out together.

Every bite of food was absolutely delicious. As opposed to other reviews, the portions were very generous. Even through it was Valentine's Day evening, the service was still very good. The restaurant has a nice vibe. We look forward to returning soon!

I loved the dip served with the corn kernels when you arrive, nice spice and flavour though I would have liked more dip to be offered. The ambience and uniforms were very nice and the uniforms reminded me of being in Peru. The pisco sour was fantastic. The main course was a bit disappointing to me though. I got the braised lamb dish but it was tougher than expected and there wasn’t enough pepper sauce in my opinion. I also thought the pepper sauce would be more flavourful than it was. It was good but I would have liked more depth of flavour. When leaving between a narrow area between tables I was not impressed that a waiter pushed his way through while I passed and couldn’t be bothered to wait a few seconds for me to pass - very disrespectful.

Love this place! Great food, service, and ambiance. Only note is I’ve been twice for birthdays and included it in the reservation and it was not acknowledged. Not a big deal but worth noting! Otherwise so perfect.

Front hostess reception was indifferent, did not create good initial impression. Once seated, the waitperson was much friendlier. However, due to restaurant almost at full capacity, server did not have enough time to regularly check on us, however bartender saw us and was quite helpful in getting us water, etc. Excellent food, a fusion of Peruvian and Asian. Manager also stopped by and was quite friendly. Restaurant very noisy, with hard surfaces making it difficult for conversation.

Despite making a reservation for inside, we were offered to sit outside in the wind. The host/manager/owner told us it would take 1 hour to get seats inside. At that point we decided to leave disappointed but then he “randomly” found seats inside. I am afraid they overbooked heavily and don’t respect the reservations via OpenTable.

Salmon dish was tasty as was rice with pork and shrimp. However, the $12 white wine pour was very small and my $19 bourbon manhattan was weak on the bourbon. Our waiter was very pleasant.
