                                    Astoria Grill Alexander Pierce meets Carrabba’s Italian Grill; we’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open for some time, it was worth the wait. Seems like they kept a good portion of the Brown Derby’s infrastructure but gave it a bit of a facelift. The atmosphere is more casual than AP and the prices more in line with the Grill concept. The service was outstanding and we were greeted by the manager twice, very nice touch. Calamari appetizer was very nice, crispy coating and tender pieces, the marinara was good but the jalapeño sauce was bold, good but spicy. They serve bread with the salad, my only suggestion would be herbed olive oil in a bowl, not on the bread, it makes for greasy fingers trying to pull apart the bread. Otherwise, it’s quite good. The filet we got was outstanding, my wife’s comment, “one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in a restaurant” a perfect med rare and seasoned very nicely. Risotto was spot on with a nice al dente texture and cheesy flavor. Carbonara was very decadent, good flavors and hefty portion. We finished with tiramisu, again, very nice, absolutely no complaints. We’ll be back, it’s nice, affordable and great date night kinda place.

                                    Our first visit did not disappoint! Everything from the greeting to dessert was first class. Our server, Cass, was delightful, helpful on choices, and ensured we were well taken care of. The food was delicious and so plentiful that we brought home lunch for the next day. Jeff stopped by for a chat about the venue and we assured him, we will be back!

                                    Filet Mignon had great taste. Got bill and it had different amount than the menu and when asked about the difference was told it was a credit card automatically charged on bill. There was nothing stated there would be an increase of any percent if paying by credit card. I was paying cash so this did matter to me.

                                    Great food , food came out little longer than we’d like but waiter and manager were all over it. Complimentary champagne for our wait. Food came out great. We really felt welcome here. Waiter and manager did a phenomenal job. We will be back

                                    We arrived and were seated within 5 min. We then proceeded to wait 45 min for a salad and an hour and 20 min for the main course. I appreciate the owner taking care of things after the fact, but unless the service is more timely I don’t think I’ll be going back.

                                    One thing you Absolutely need is to sell Chardonnay by the glass! Chardonnay is very popular especially among women and only option is a $77 bottle. I’ve found some dishes I really enjoy but lack of Chardonnay by the glass makes me think twice about coming back…
